Nabco UK, a leader in retail shelving solutions and accessories, today announced its new management team following the retirement of founder and Managing Director, Nigel Bass. Having founded Nabco in 1989, Nigel along with his wife and Nabco Director Karen Bass have decided to retire after 32 years.
Nigel started Nabco with just one customer and no office space. He operated out of a spare bedroom and a single garage in his home. Nigel’s reputation within the industry together with Nabco’s offering of great products at competitive prices soon however brought more customers allowing the fledgling firm to move into its own office and warehouse space in St Albans.
For the past two years Nigel and Karen had stepped back from running Nabco. Commercial Director, Trishan Satyadheva has been managing the day to day running of the company along with Sales Director Ryan Willis. Effective as of 1st November 2021, Trishan has been named as the new Managing Director of Nabco.
Trishan Satyadheva has been with Nabco for 11 years and has overseen the rapid growth for the company in 2021. “This has been a historic year for Nabco as we are going through some very exciting changes” said Trishan. “We achieved our biggest revenue month in our history in July and then announced in August our industry changing partnership with Modern Expo as their official distributor in the UK and Ireland. Just last month we onboarded a record 27 new customers.
Alongside Trishan, the new Nabco management team includes Ryan Willis who will continue in his role of Sales Director. Ryan is responsible for spearheading sales strategies and budgets and developing and growing long-term relationships with clients. Juan-Pierre Adams becomes Finance Director. Juan-Pierre fondly known as JP will be responsible for driving financial strategy and planning, assessing future risks and managing all financial aspects of the business. Finally, Ruaan Adams becomes Operations Director. He will oversee all operations at Nabco, ensuring they are carried out at speed and cost-effectively. He is also responsible for improving operational management systems, processes, and best practices. These appointments also became effective as of 1st November 2021.
“After 32 years, I’m so proud of what we achieved as a team and couldn’t have written the Nabco story better” said Nigel Bass. “In handing over the reins, I retire with complete confidence that Nabco has a bright and successful future under the new management team led by my dear friend Trishan”.
